What I find the most interesting thing about HDR photography is the colors you never notice are there… I took this it was pitch black around 5 am in the morning, it was the morning I came into Savannah. Also the cool thing about this picture is that right behind me is the very famous and some say the very haunted Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
Do you think the Ghosts can see this?
So this was just an exposed pipe outside of a comic shop in Savannah’s historic district. I love this picture so much! It is probably one of my favorite pictures I have taken thus far. Most anyone would think it’s insane especially when Savannah is one of the most beautiful cities in America. Yet in spite of all things you can say about Savannah’s beauty, greenery, architecture, and history; I think it’s the people and the culture of the place that makes the city amazing. This is youth and the future, crudely drawn in an old pipe, in an old city. I love that duality, and it makes me smile so much!

This is the SCAD Trustees Theater between Abercom street and Lincoln Street on East Broughton St. It’s amazing finding places like this that have such a rad 50s vibe. They show movies and acts. Also the real cool thing there is an an old school ice cream parlor right next door ftw!
The gates of Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah Georgia.. in HDR.. I wish though that light wasn’t there so it could have been even more creepy…. the bright yellow light ruined it for me ;_;
Since I like going to bed winning, I thought I couldn’t just leave my sad moon up. So i decided the light seemed awesome. Why not HDR the tree in front of the house. I think it came out ok. I still n00bed something up but not to bad.
So this the only thing I could salvage from one hell of a failed attempt to get some moon shots. Obviously I am still a total n00b at this. I had 3 major issues. A) I had a spot on my mirror which I didn’t notice until I was taking photos. B) weather.. Wind + Clouds.. C) I kept getting a ghosting that just didn’t look right. I also was short on time since I was on lunch break from work (I work graveyard shift). Regardless, I am still glad i got 1 half way decent shot.
Also why is this moon so super?
I took a series of pictures on a pier in Pompano Beach fishing pier. While i am also learning more about my camera and Lenses. I also wanted to play with HDR style photos, since I think they look amazing. I took a few hundred photos and i got like 11 HDR shots out of it.. This picture was one of the first pictures of the night. When I took it, it was pitch black out. I was amazed how cool it looked when I processed the HDR the 3 pics of a HDR. I think the colors look sick as hell.
